A warm welcome to Hoo St Werburgh Parish Church.
We are a broadly based Church of England parish in the North Kent village of Hoo St Werburgh. We aim to be a friendly and inclusive church, and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds.
Walking across the fields from Abbots Court, the spire of St Werburgh Church is seen to reach into the sky, pointing towards God as it has for centuries. It has been a landmark and guide for travellers on land and sea, and its bells have called people to worship, have warned in times of danger, and have rung out in celebration at times of personal and national celebration.
Today it is a growing church, serving the surrounding community, and seeking to live out the Christian faith in the complex and sometimes confusing modern world we live in.
